The Dua (Supplication)
After completing the prayer, recite the supplication for Istikhara. This dua is a beautiful expression of acceptance, as accurate as it is with and vulnerable before Allah. The wording of the dua can be discovered in various reliable sources, or you can visit an Imam for extra specific clarification.
The essence of the dua is to acknowledge Allah’s all-encompassing expertise and power. We ask Him to guide us toward the excellent selection for us in this lifestyle and the hereafter, even supposing it is no longer what we first of all desire. We also ask Him to make the path we pick out smooth for us and turn away trouble from the choice outside our fine hobby. Here’s a not-unusual translation of the Istikhara dua:
Translation
“O Allah! I ask for goodness and goodness from you to your knowledge. By giving your power to the power of good, you are the one who knows the unseen.
O Allah! You know, I do not know whether the matter is better for me or not. You know, you do not, and you have power, and I have no strength.
Or Allah! If you know that this matter (at this point, the idea of the matter for which the exploitation is being made) is better for me, it is better for my religion, better than my livelihood and the world. And even better in terms of end, in terms of my immediate profit and lasting benefits, let it be destiny for me, make it easy for me, and make it a blessing for me.
